Outside the office
Here's a little about me:
* I grew up in Michigan - Go Blue!
* I graduated from BYU and got a Doctorate of Psychology in Northern California where I attended the Berkeley YSA ward
* My dissertation was titled Understanding the Experiences of LDS Women with Same Sex Attraction
* I served a mission in Bulgaria
* I'm an Israeli-Palestinian peace activist, including being the SLC chapter head of American Friends of Combatants for Peace
* I have co-authored two books on mindfulness
* I'm a member of the Salt Lake City Interfaith Roundtable
* I'm a facilitator of mindfulness workshops at Sixteen Stones, LLC
* I'm obsessed with Jerusalem, Diet Dr. Pepper, and my old 1904 house. My latest interest is weight lifting.
* My husband and I have 2 absolutely fantastic middle school children and one slightly hyper dog.
